Sends magic into the air and waits for spell completion (mental command) then a bolt of electricity decends on target (2d4) Dodge DC 22. Costs 10 mana to send electrcity skyward and another 10 to complete.  Must be completed in 5 rounds or wasted.  Cannot be used inside buildings or caves that have ceilings thicker than 4ft of stone.

Shadow [channeled 20]-

Warps the surrounding darkness into a physical manifestation.  The shadows move and writhe, grabbing and holding objects and creatures with the same strength as the caster.  A shadow with no more 'mass' as the caster may be used regardless of available darkness.  No other spells may be cast during this effect and requires that one hand be dedicated to this spell. Cost 20.

Dracah Shift [channeled 8 hours]-

Requires 8 hours to change; no additional actions required to maintain

By allowing the energies of the Dragon Asheria to flow from the spiritual realm to the physical one, the human's body changes to that of the Dracah.  Stats are increased (stat block assumes dracah from; second set is that of the human) as well as the augmentation of spells.  All spells gain the Dragon title (Dragon Fire, etc).  Each spell's DC increases by 3 and has a more elaborate physical manifestation (Dragon Fire takes on the form of a roaring dragon as it soars to opponent, etc).  Spell cost is reduced by 5 if used to affect another creature.


If Health of character drops below 80%, character immediatly begins reverting to human form.  GM is determining factor of what powers and abilities fail at what time.
Appearance becomes scaled and hands and feet extend to claw-like proportions while teeth sharpen (no extra damage gained). Eyes become slitted.

In Dracah Form Only.

Fire Breathing [Instant or Full Round 5 Neg 1/2 DC 26]- 
 

Can unleash intense flames from the mouth as either a fireball (instant action 1d6 damage DC 24) or a cone of flame (full round action max dimensions 5'x5'x30'Long 4d2 damage DC 26). Since not a full dragon the time between bursts are d2+gm modifier (as determinied by situation) and gouts are d4+gm modifier.  Each firebreathing requires 5 mana.


Flight [Instant 0]-

Character has fully functional wings and can fly at a max speed of 5x running speed.  Can maintain flight for 4 continous hours before requiring 1 hours rest.  Max altitude is 500'.

Improved Sense [Natural Ability]-

Character has daylight vision of 300' to determine a creature's face.  In dark this drops to 150'.  Characters sense of hearing becomes equivilent to that of an elf.  Sense of smell equivilent to that of a wolf.
 
Bio: The Legend of Xanis reads "A member of a dying race known only as Dracah. To become one a human must have made contact with a dying dragon spirit and allow its soul to live on with the human. Dracah then bear the traits of the dragon that bonded. In this case Asheria the Dark was known for causing terror and pain to non-dragons for encrouching upon what Asheria considered to be her territories. The human was known for being kind to any and all sentient life regardless of their intentions. The fated encounter came shortly after the elven nations finally brought down Asheria for the razing of forests. After the bonding the boy slowly became tainted by the dark influence going to commit similar atrocities. But, the Boy was able to limit the rage only on Combatants or those who insult him by strict warrior standards. To end the conflict between them, the dracah challenged the Elven Royality after laying a swath of destruction to the palace. During the conflict the dracah was stunned by the beauty of one of the attendants which allowed the elven king a chance to lay a serious blow to him. In an act of desperation the Dracah prepared to bring down the palace with a final blow using The Rune Seal of Oblivion. By changing the last rune to the rune of Captivity rather than the rune of Darkness, the king then sealed the Dracah with his own magic. To keep the seal energized, the king linked it to the excess energies of the palace lands. The sword, forged of dragon fangs and dark magics the blade was stong enough to bring down the greatest warriors with but a touch. The armor listed is actually the manifested scales providing both armor and flexability. Only truly holy blades or devout spells have been known to penetrate the scales....but 20,000 years in captivity do wonders to weaken known powers. This limiting of powers has also allowed the Boy to regain a foothold over controlling these powers. Now with the Transistion of the Elven Island to the world of the humans has weakiened the seal enough for the end of captivity. Now allowed to roam, he seeks his sword and the redemption of his name: Vehx Zr deus Xanisia- "The Twinned Soul of the Dark"
A master in both the sword and spell he tends to bring the enemy into a open space then use his clawed feet and sword to carve seals into the ground or surrounding areas then allowing to activate them at proper times in combat to both confuse and create openings for brute force trauma."
As noted, has a week spot for beautiful women. Most notable are any who can keep up in both combat and wit while being both beautiful and strong.

Alright everyone,

90% of the time one of the staff is in and will tell me events and such so I can keep track of who was involved.

As for amounts.. I've had a couple people say. Why did I only get 5 or 10 and someone got 20.. well here we go.

5 is for just basic rp interaction with other ppl etc I think this is more then fair.
10 is for major rp that effects the world
20 more then likely they got 20 cause they killed someone either a character or a very important NPC or monster in the room so here is a shorter view of it also listing some didn't talk about above:

1 for journal entry of your character's thoughts
5 for rp
10 for major rp
10 for killing a player
10 for killing a monster
10 for killing a major NPC
10 for raising a player from the dead
10 for raising a major NPC from the dead

*LIMITED TIME* 5 points for posting your being in the room during a event and explaining what role you played in that event to help me give out xp. Once this becomes a normal thing.. well we shall think on if there should be xp given for doing it more then likely will go down to 1 point per entry.

addition points may be given depending on the event and the seriousness of the event so far I have only given out 20 as the highest but with the list above it is totally possible to be given more.

People keep on questioning me about magic here well I'm going to put this in blank understood terms.

Light and Dark magic you do one or the other NOT BOTH. The only and I mean only exception of this is a character that litterly has two souls and they switch between the two.

That being said you can not switch from one to the other there is no gray area for this. It doesn't mean having dark magic means you are evil that is a misconception. You can have dark magic and be on the good side using that magic for the good of man kind or whatever you choose to stand for.

Divine magic:
Divine magic is gifted by the Gods one of your choosing I'm not going to limit it cause well its easier not to. Tell me about your god and then tell me what it grant you. Easy enough.

Arcane magic:
Arcane is magic that uses some kind of component material, vocial, motions, words, etc.

More then anything you have one or the other not both.

Finally, at this point in this room I wish to allow more lower ended spells meaning you can have a bunch of lower stuff and one powerful spell. Kala has the rez spell, Nicholas has strength and speed as he has limited magic, Asane has her major light spell. See the trend here? Now, I'm not saying that you will be "endlessly" limited to this. It is in my hope to grow and learn more as the story goes on and people are being added. The great thing about this world is that you can LEARN! From a book from a scroll from some kind of magic thing. It is not limited but only by your imagination. Your logs of your character "learning" will help your character and be watched extremely closely by me and others in the room. When you reach a certain level your abilites will increases either that be a new spell or your exsisting spell increasing.

Please don't make me limit the room more then I want to please take all of this to heart and work on developing your character. If your at the top then there is no where to go and then you have nothing to do but sit and twittle your thumbs as nothing is a challenge.

Also please create a mana cost for your magic basic spells should cost fairly low about 10-20 depending on the damage, advanced spells should cost 20-40 or so and of course the major spells should cost 40-60 or so to cast.

Rez spell is limits to extreme few as of now known limited amount of people NOTE: It can be learned. See Kala on how. Teleport is offlimits but you can do a portal and you can only portal to a place you have BEEN before. Instant death spells are off limits

In the Past... / Old Storyline (Before closing at RPO)

All this information is from the older storyline posts and put in one place since I moved stuff from the other board

Storyline (Starts in October of 2009):

Basically, here is the run down. Xanis a evilish demon has been released from his 20,000 year slumber once a murder and all that nasty stuff has seemed to fallen into the realm of neutral. He is being watched carefully by Commander Nicholas and of course the Royal Guards. Nicholas Loughlin is now married to Asane Reman once the leader of the Rebel Alliance has agreed to peace after a one month enslavement and the beginnings of the rebuild of the Blood Empire has come about. Is this the end of the Rebel Alliance for good? Who knows.. For now all PDs that have to do with the Rebel Alliance will be removed until such time as they are needed to smooth rp. Since the walls of the compound within the city of elves has been removed PDs will be changed to also show reflection of the changes. Nicholas is now under full power of the Empire of Elves and will be more then happy to defend that right.

With the close of November we had the Lunar Festival over the Thanksgiving weekend. Celebration for elves one of the most sacred of festivals. Someone was bold enough to murder Guards, a woman, a child. This is punishable on the highest degree and once the person is found they will answer extremely for this crime. Reman takes control of the Blood Elf Empire as their leader. Nicholas staying commander of the elven army. Asane regaining control of the Conglomerate. Celeste taking command of the Human Alliance Army. Unsure as of now where Xanis is going to fall into at the moment. Things were forced to change to increase role play and allow new members to get into the story rather then being grid locked out. With the full opening of 4 factions this allows for more freedom in the world and expansions options allowing more conflict of interest and friction. Please read the front page for more detailed information as well as the information page that has changed from displaying races to listing information about all the factions.

The Elders of the Alliance Empire was destroyed in a bus accident. Agreement is under place to create a new group of Elders instead of the traditional elven way of things they have agreed to allow a collection of human and elves by choice of each group. The Alliance Empire, the Conglomerate, and the Alliance.

Lord Vanval the Elven King had determined that the Elders were corrupted and they were working against the treaty between elves and humans. They were slowly changing things without permission taking down that of things of elven tradition and replacing it with a human tradition. He took the throne annoying the marriage between Kala and Nicholas be wiped from history all alliance between humans and elves be on pause and order be restored to Elfwood.

Kala is still Queen of the Alliance as her birth right. Lord Vanval is under rule as acting King, until such time as Nicholas and Kala remarry if ever. Nicholas has been titled Captain of the Guard answering only to the Elven King. Celeste is named as Second in Command of the Elven Army under Nicholas' command.

Keldan is been rumored to be the killer of Lady Vanval, Kala's mother. Is currently wanted by the Alliance Empire for questioning.

The Leader to the Rebel Alliance, Keldan, has been killed by Nicholas Loughlin. Giving rise to the third in command of the Revel Alliance as the Second in Command was killed also.

A new faction has seemly given rise. Being lead by the code name of Delta. He has demanded that Nicholas Loughlin step down to be Steward and give Kala full command of the Empire. It has been agreed upon and Nicholas is now Stewart. Which is meaningless as it actually gives him more freedom to do what is needed.

Kala and Nicholas are still no longer married. Nicholas has married Asane who has given birth to his daughter.

Celeste was named Captain of the Guard.

The Elven Empire is again referred to as The Empire no longer the Alliance Empire. They have claimed Independence from the humans and defend themselves with some help from the Magister's Conglomerate.

Well so far Shane and Celeste went after John the leader of the human alliance they tried to kill John with no success. Nicholas banned Celeste from his sight for the time as she seemed to betray him and took his sister Lilly with her. Shane was enslaved by choice to Lilly along the way.

Kala was removed from the throne as Queen reduced down to basically a commoner but she is still recognized as the High Priestess of the Light Temple. Reman was decided by the Elders to be King of the Empire and allowed the right to choose his Queen.

Keldan is back and he is bad as ever maybe even worse. Brought back to life by dark magic. Calling for Nicholas to be turned over to him in exchange for the safety of the city. Reman not willing to do such but was unsure what else to do.

Asane and Nicholas fled to the safety of the Conglomerate tower to be protected and hopefully hidden away. Too bad for them it was almost what killed them. Kala lead the Elven army with Keldan's baiting to march against the tower. Keldan overrode the system within the tower and caused it to go into lockdown and cranked up the heat so that people would basically die inside. Thanks to Klyde Nicholas and Asane were resuced. Kala former Queen was then demanded to be put on trail by Asane for attempting to kill those in side. Will this be the fall of the former Queen? Will she be put to death for crimes against an Ally? Or was there something else she had planned all a long?

Join us in the trail of a lifetime how will Kala get out of this one? Has she finally betrayed the elves or perhaps not

Current Storyline / Room Opening Storyline

As some characters have chosen to not return to the world the story has been rewritten to reflect such. Major events were kept to make it flow better and minor things were just ignored. The following story is subject to change until the official opening:

Many many years ago the elves left earth for the undying lands leaving man to the dying world in which they themselves created. Man won in taking over the world's magic and all myth and stories of elves were all but gone by the time it was nearly in the year 3000 war had broken out once more and man began to fight among themselves. Finally weapons were everywhere and the Atomic bomb was more of the norm man finally destroyed everything they held dear while doing so with their destruction opened a magic portal ripping the capital of the Elven Empire right back into the realm of man and the circular land base slammed into the ocean halfway between New York and England. When the Elven land slammed into the ocean of course it created the ocean to swell and overtake what was left of the dying race of man east coasts and west coasts were completely wiped out in a huge tidal wave. At this moment was the breaking point man waged war against the elves blaming them for their own mistakes as most humans did in this day in age.

That was 400 years ago war is still going but it has really toned down things seemed to be on a stand still until the day Celeste the demon that once before

raved the Elven Capital ones again returned to attempt to do just that once more. Beyond her knowledge her former Master and very well know Greek Commander, Nicholas Loughlin, had moved and allied him with the elves making him the strongest force on their side. Celeste stunned by the surprise was overtaken. The man known as the Titan by many that knew him fought Celeste the Destroyer in a epic battle finally it some what seemed to come to a draw if it weren?t for Reman their stories would of ended there. John?s corruption was broken and Celeste was able to think more clearly she begged to remain in Elfwood to help her former Master and Commander.

Keldan former counsel to the Elven King Lord Vanval. Keldan's family and Lord Vanval?s family was promised to join together ages ago. Despite common misconception Lady Vanval was murdered and not only that she was killed by Keldan himself. Keldan quickly became enemy number one and was pushed to the top of the Elven most wanted list before Lord Vanval was taken in arrest for war crimes against humans and other elves by the Human Alliance.Keldan is been rumored to be the killer of Lady Vanval, Kala's mother. Is currently wanted by the Alliance Empire for questioning. Whom later, Keldan, had been killed by Nicholas Loughlin.

By this time the Human Alliance is now the Human Empire John Kim, the President of the Alliance is now the soul power of this now Empire. Suddenly the Elven Empire was so much in a unbalanced state with the capture of the Elven King Lord Vanval. For a while his young daughter barely old enough to be considered an adult by elven standards was granted title of Queen of the Empire. Things were shaky for a very long time and she made the mistake of questioning Nicholas in his loyalty to the elves. Thankfully it didn?t go over to well and in fact the Elven Elders decided she was far to young to rule correctly and with the Elder?s approval Reman Kaleseth, Commander of the Blood Elves was decided to take the throne. Reman is a fairly level headed Blood Elf Paladin cleaver and witty as well as Keldan?s former apprentice.

The Elven Empire is again referred to as The Empire no longer the Alliance Empire. They have claimed Independence from the humans and defend themselves.

Allows Asane to form and hurl javelins of pure holy power, may be formed and hurled either as a bolt of pure white light, or as a flat white steel (non reflective), the throw is done at the speed of light, as such no dodge roll is allowed, however her accuracy rolls must still be made in order to hit. Weapons are considered +2 holy weapons, +6 vs dark or evil targets.

Asane gets +4 to all dodge rolls, and +10% damage reduction (damage reduction may not in any way exceed 90%)

When Asane reaches 0 Mana by any means while in her transformation, she immediately passes out. Any and all spells cease, any in progress cast spells return their mana, however, this does not wake her. She wakes when she makes a D10 roll difficulty 7, one roll per turn, or when she achieves full mana, whichever comes first.

Fast Healing (2) (0, [passive], N/A)

Asane naturally regenerates 2 hp per round calculated at the beginning of her turn, due to the large quantities of positive energy flowing in her body. This is a supernatural effect, cannot be blocked, costs no mana.

Whirlwind (5, [instant], 1.5x)

Asane whips up a whirlwind which can either be directed or centered on her, Wind speeds are in excess of 250 mph, and can be increased by spending more mana (1 mana = approx 10 mph more)

Starburst (2, [at will], N/A)

Asane causes a brilliant flash of white light, in the eyes of target. Target must make a roll 1d20 + stam target 30 in order to resist. Any looking towards the target other than Asane must make a save roll 1d20 + stam target 25 to resist blindness. If blinded, roll 1d4, blindness lasts this many rounds.

Blizzard (8, [channeled], 2x)

Asane may use this spell to form a mundane blizzard, a rain of damaging ice shards (all but asane within 30 yards of target roll 1d100, target 75, or be hit with 1d4 damage), or may form one large ice shard, to be hurled like a javelin, dodge DC is 25, damage class is D8.

Consuming Flames (10, [cast 2 actions], .5x)

Directed fire. This magical fire produces only 1d4 initial damage, however it burns for 1d6 rounds, dealing 1d4 damage per round, calculated at the beginning of the target's turn. If one is hit by the initial strike, there is no save to resist the damage over time, however each turn the target may sacrifice 1 action to attempt to put out the flames, 1d20 DC 17 to douse. While enflamed, any attempts to cast spells must succeed a 1d100 roll, target 75 to proceed normally. At 50-75, spell effects are chosen at random, and still hit the target. At 25-50, spell effects and target are chosen at random, the caster and original target are not included in the random selection. At 0-25, the spell hits the caster, and does x1.5 damage.

Perfect Resurrection: The ability to revive her comrides at will. This is a very draining spell will cause her to blank out for a period of time which decreases at use. added 1/19

Weapons: Klaiveberge (A massive sword originally designed for destroying both rider and horse, however Klyde has trained his body, muscles, and his will and technique in order to properly weild the blade in standard combat.)

Klaiveberge is 5.5' long, 1.5' wide, and 3" thick, weighing a total of 300 lbs, the hilt is a foot and a half long, and in history, this blade was used by two soldiers, however, Klyde has learned and trained to use this sword in conventional battle, in his hands, the blade is considered weightless for any calculations involving Klyde, but is considered 300 lbs when calculating damage, inertia, and cutting/stopping force.

Tension Techniques

FIVE TENSION POINT SKILLS

Wolf's Claw: Klyde leaps into the air and performs a powerful downward strike, capable of severing almost any mundane weapon or armor. (must have +2 enhancement/enchantment or better to get any damage reduction at all.)

Wolf's Paw: Klyde performs a rapid series of strikes to key points of the human neural system causing a loss of control of a single limb, or a temporary paralysis lasting 1d4 rounds. Loss of control of a limb lasts until the target receives medical attention for severed nerves.

TEN TENSION POINT SKILLS

Shockwave: Klyde slams the blade of the Klaiveberge into the ground, releasing a vicious shockwave backed by a waive of raw power generated by the blade hitting the ground. This ability deals heavy damage to a single target, and knocks that target to the ground, then can attack up to three additional targets at 1/3 of the original strike's damage, however these targets are not thrown.

Leader of the Pack: Klyde rams the blade of Klaiveberge into the body of the target, then leaps twenty feet into the air, either ripping the body apart, or throwing it into the air, for it to eventually slam into the ground.

FIFTEEN TENSION POINT SKILLS

Starfall: Klyde leaps into the air and swings his blade, several starbursts of raw power are released from the blade, to deal significant damage to all enemies within 30 feet of the target.

Typhoon: Klyde whirls the Klaiveberge fast and hard enough to generate a whirlwind capable of hurling all enemies within 30 feet of the target as much as half a mile away, Klyde can position himself so that the whirlwind picks up debris before reaching the target, then instead of hurling the targets, he deals massive damage based on the ST/RC descretion based on the items picked up by the whirlwind.

TWENTY TENSION POINT SKILLS

Overdrive: Klyde's speed and strength become completely unrivaled, allowing him to unleash a savage eight point aireal juggling attack, followed by a savage downward strike, slamming the body of the target into the ground.

TENSION TECHNIQUE NOTES

Tension techniques are supernatural abilities, when a tension technique is utilized, Klyde's accuracy is considered absolute, however, the opponent is allowed ONE dodge roll, no matter how many strikes the tension technique involves. Once a target is engaged in a tension technique, they are considered stunned until it is over, meaning no magical, supernatural, or mundane actions can be taken until the technique terminates.
